Abstract

Optoelectronic logic devices are of great interest for lightwave time-division multiple access (TDMA) networks[1]. In particular, an optical AND gate combines a multiplexed data stream with a delayed, low-frequency pulse train or "clock" to perform the demultiplexing function of providing a subscriber with the desired channel as an electrical output [2].
