Abstract

We report a silicon microring modulator with 128 Gb/s PAM4 data rate, 0.52 V·cm phase efficiency, 50 GHz electro-optic bandwidth, and a full-FSR tunability using an integrated heater with efficiency <20mW/π-phase shift.
