10-Gbps Real-time Burst-Frame Synchronization Using Dual-Stage Detection for Full-Software Optical Access Systems

Abstract

For realizing full-software optical access systems, we propose a novel burst-frame synchronization algorithm with reduced computation complexity using dual-stage detection and, for the first time, demonstrate its 10-Gbps real-time implementation on a GPU.
