112GBd Virtual-Carrier Assisted Single-Sideband PAM4 with Kramers-Kronig Detection and Blind Adaptive IQ Imbalance Compensation

Abstract

We propose a novel IQ imbalance compensation algorithm for virtual-carrier assisted single sideband PAM signal. We demonstrate performance improvement on single-λ 112GBd VSSB-PAM4 with KK receiver and IQ imbalance compensation when there is IQ mismatch.
