All-Fiber Orbital Angular Momentum (OAM) Functional Devices for Mode-Division (De)Multiplexing in Conventional Graded-Index Multimode Fiber

Abstract

We propose and fabricate all-fiber orbital angular momentum (OAM) functional devices for mode-division (de)multiplexing in conventional graded-index multimode fiber, based on which OAM±01, OAM±n and OAM±21 (de)multiplexing in OM3 fiber is successfully demonstrated in the experiment with favorable mode-crosstalk performance.
