35-Tb/s C-band Transmission over 800 km Employing 1-Tb/s PS-64QAM signals enhanced by Complex 8 × 2 MIMO Equalizer

Abstract

We demonstrate the full C-band 1-Tb/s/λ WDM 800-km transmission with 35-Tb/s capacity employing novel complex 8 × 2 MIMO equalizer which enables simultaneous compensation of imperfections of transmitter and receiver of 120-Gbaud probabilistically-shaped-64QAM signals.
