Repetition rate stabilization of a mode-locked laser-PIC optical frequency comb using harmonic injection locking

Abstract

We present an all-optical technique to divide millimeter-wave range (20-80GHz) optical frequency combs down to microwave regime (10GHz) using harmonic injection locking of a chip-scale MLL achieving a repetition rate stability of 10−10 at 1s.
