Manipulation and Optical Processing of WDM Signals Using Optical Time Lenses

Abstract

We describe flexible processing of WDM signals without separating the individual WDM channels and processing them individually. We describe WDM regeneration, flexible WDM grid manipulation and a TDM-to-WDM conversion for cheaper energy-efficient PON systems.
