Abstract

We investigate temperature and strain dependency of Brillouin dynamic grating in 4-LP-mode fiber with a ring-cavity configuration. Sensitivities of 3.20 MHz/°C and −0.0384 MHz/με are achieved. We demonstrate measurement with 300-m range and 1-m resolution.
