Abstract

We demonstrate real-time and gap-free continuous frequency-spectrum analysis of broadband (GHz-bandwidth) microwave signals with unprecedented nanosecond resolutions through an analog time-mapped spectrogram approach, enabling detection of frequency interferences and transients with durations down to ~5ns.
