First Results From a High-Resolution Full Waveform Airborne Bathymetric LiDAR System

Abstract

An airborne LiDAR system that integrates design characteristics of terrestrial and bathymetric sensors to enable high-resolution mapping of land and shallow bathymetry simultaneously is discussed. We also present early test results and outline future work.
