Extraction of Rooftops from LiDAR and Multispectral Imagery

Abstract

A rooftop extraction scheme based on statistical analysis of the LiDAR point cloud is presented. Spectral data are incorporated to reduce false alarms due to vegetation and to provide spectral discrimination of rooftop materials.
