Aerogel-based Photocatalytic Optofluidic Microreactors

Abstract

Aerogel-based photocatalytic optofluidic microreactor system with a single channel inside a monolithic aerogel block with immobilized photocatalyst with optical waveguides based on total internal reflection to facilitate photocatalytic chemical reactions is demonstrated.
