Quantitative Phase-Based Angular Scattering Measurements of Organelle Size Distributions in Single Cells

Abstract

Angular scattering from wavelength-scale objects can be obtained from quantitative phase images. Using Fourier phase microscopy, excellent fits with Mie theory are obtained for single micron-scale beads, and size distribution estimates are performed for the first time on various single cells.
