Photonic Upconversion via Cooperative Energy Pooling in Solid-State Molecular Materials

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

Here we present demonstrations and kinetic models of Cooperative Energy Pooling, which is a mechanism for photonic upconversion in organic thin films via simultaneous transfer of excitons from sensitizers to two-photon absorbing acceptor molecules.
