Experimental Demonstration of Raman Gain Efficiency and Chromatic Dispersion of Hole-Assisted Fiber: Influence of Bend

Abstract

The Raman gain efficiency and chromatic-dispersion of a hole-assisted fiber with and without minimum allowable bending radius are measured. Numerical predictions from the theory are shown to be in good agreement with the experimental results.
