Tunable Repetition-rate Ultrawideband Monocycle Pulse Generation by using Optical Parametric Amplifier

Abstract

We demonstrate a novel technique for generating ultrawideband monocycle pulse with repetition-rate tuning capability based on fiber optical parametric amplifier. High quality monocycle pulse with repetition rate up to 4.2GHz is successfully generated.
