Long Fiber-optic Perimeter Sensor: Signature Analysis

Abstract

A phase-sensitive OTDR provides a cost-effective and highly sensitive solution for monitoring of long perimeters. Signature analysis of the ϕ-OTDR signal allows the identification of intruders on foot as well as vehicles.
