Design and Analysis of Heterogeneous Trench-Assisted Multi-core Fiber under Bending Condition

Abstract

Heterogeneous trench-assisted multi-core fiber (Hetero-TA-MCF) is proposed to achieve larger effective area. The crosstalk value at 1550-nm of Hetero-TA-MCF can be lower than −50 dB after 100-km propagation.
