Abstract

It is shown that an ultra-flat gain bandwidth of 658 nm at 30 dB (± 0.01-dB gain fluctuation) can be obtained by dual-pump optical parametric amplification using highly nonlinear tellurite hybrid microstructured optical fibers (HMOFs).
