Low Complexity Single-Stage Adaptive Frequency Domain Equalizer for SDM Systems using Few Mode Fibers

Abstract

We propose to use a single-stage adaptive frequency-domain equalizer for few-mode-fiber SDM systems. This new method does not need independent static chromatic dispersion compensation module without increasing the adaptive equalizer complexity.
