Spatial Oversampling to overcome High-speed ADC Noise Limited Performance

Abstract

We introduce the photonic spatial oversampling concept to overcome ADC noise limited performance, which is in many ways similar to temporal oversampling occurring nowadays in electronic ADC. Spatial oversampling is especially fitting for high-speed systems.
