Ultra-compact Electro-Optics Polymer Modulator Based on Slot Waveguide Microring Resonator

Abstract

An ultra-compact EO polymer modulator based on slot waveguide microring resonator is proposed. The modulator achieves the insertion loss of 1.0 dB, the modulation depth of 13.96 dB, and the capacitance of 0.41 fF, respectively.
