Implementing DACs in High Speed Optical Link Simulations

Abstract

We present an efficient model for simulating distortions imposed by DACs in high-speed optical links. Theoretical stand-alone and experimental system-level validations ensured consistency of simulations with theory and experiments from our testbed.
