Inorganic Phosphors for Diode Pumped Solid-State Lighting Applications

Abstract

Rare-earth ion doped crystals and glasses are investigated for white light emission under diode laser excitation. Chromaticity diagrams, color coordinates and temperature are estimated. These materials meet the criteria of white light emitters.
