Mid-infrared Plasmonics for Ultra-sensitive Chemical Fingerprinting and Real-time, in-situ Spectroscopy

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

We demonstrate a plasmonic platform performing real-time, in-situ infrared absorption spectroscopy on biomolecule binding interactions. Leveraging nano-antennas for near-field enhancement and to direct radiation, our approach enables an ultrasensitive compact chip based biosensor technology.
