Frequency Comb-Based Laser Sensors for Precision Ranging, Spectroscopy and Frequency Transfer

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

Frequency combs are a coherent broadband light source well-suited to precision sensing. We discuss a sensing approach that makes use of two coherent frequency combs for precision ranging, spectroscopy and frequency transfer over the air.
