High Average Power Mid-infrared Supercontinuum Generation in a Suspended Core Chalcogenide Fiber

Abstract

Mid-infrared supercontinuum spanning from 2.0 to 6.1 µm is generated in a 9 cm suspended core chalcogenide fiber by pumping close to the fiber zero-dispersion wavelength at 3.5 µm with an OPA system.
