Abstract

Graphene based surface plasmonics in microfiber multimode interferometer is first proposed for realization of highly sensitive, temperature independent, and compact fiber-optic gas sensor. The achieved sensitivities are ~0.1ppm, ~0.2ppm for NH3 gas and H2O vapor, respectively.
