Temperature Gradient Sensor Based on a Long Fiber Bragg Grating and Time Waveform Analysis

Abstract

A novel sensor based on a 10 cm-long fiber Bragg grating and a simple scheme is proposed, dedicated to detect the position and distribution of a temperature gradient with a 1 mm spatial resolution.
