Abstract

A TM-pass polarizer based on silicon-on-insulator platform and using titanium nitride as a CMOS-compatible plasmonic material is proposed. The polarizer is only 2.9 µm-long with 0.96 dB insertion loss (IL) and 20 dB extinction ratio (ER).
