A proposal of expanding phase dynamic range in CE-CO-OFDM systems using phase unwrapping

Abstract

We propose a combination of phase unwrapping and oversampling to expand phase dynamic range of CE-CO-OFDM systems, and numerically confirm the effectiveness of the proposed detection scheme showing the tolerance for fiber transmission degradation.
