Biosensing applications of SERS: Bacterial Diagnostics, Blood Aging and Forensics

Abstract

Surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy provides unique spectral signatures for rapid, antibiotic specific bacterial diagnostics, monitoring blood aging, malaria detection and trace body fluid identification applicable in forensic science.
