Metamaterial-Enabled Narrow- and Broad-Band Terahertz Antireflection Coatings

Abstract

Eliminating Fresnel reflection in a terahertz photonic system is highly desirable but technically challenging using traditional approaches. Here we demonstrate simple metamaterial structures that allow narrow- and broad-band antireflection functionality for high refractive index materials.
