Surface Plasmon Resonator Biosensor Spatial Phase Sensitivity Enhancement through Optical Fiber Low Coherence Interferometry

Abstract

The spatial phase sensitivity on the effective reaction length using optical fiber low coherence interferometry demonstrates 10.4-rad/μM, 34 times more enhancement than the polarized light phase characterization from spectral interferometry based surface plasmon resonance biosensors.
