Analysis on Cladding Intensity of Dye-doped Polymeric Fiber-Optic Strain Sensor for Visual Detection of Strain

Abstract

A stress sensor based on a dye-doped polymeric optical fiber can detect stress by simple comparison of two luminescence peaks from a pair of organic dyes. How the cladding luminescence was induced was analyzed.
