Plasmon-enhanced second-harmonic sensing on a microfluidic chip

Abstract

We present a prototypical microfluidic plasmon-assisted nonlinear sensing device. We attain similar resolution both in the linear and nonlinear sensing regimes. The nonlinear sensitivity, however, results up to 3 times higher than the linear one.
