Transmission Measurement of Brain Activity in vivo

Abstract

Localized transmission measurement of intrinsic optical signal of neuronal activity was examined in-vivo in the rat brain for the first time. Enhanced light output during neuronal activity was observed, linked to neural swelling signals.
