Abstract

The rotational constants of bands of 16O12C17O and 16O12C18O near 2600 cm−1 have been estimated by spectral curve fitting. These constants predict the positions of all but the weakest lines with an estimated accuracy of 0.003 cm−1. They are in reasonable agreement with other published values, although some of these do not predict the observed line positions satisfactorily. The causes of these disagreements are discussed.
