Abstract

The Armed Forces Institute of Pathology is a triservice organization engaged in consultation, education, and research in pathology in support of the armed services and in cooperation with other governmental agencies and with civilian medicine. References are given to publications of members of the Institute staff, principally in the areas of light and electron microscopy (including optical cytochemical methods and quantitative electron microscopy), spectrophotometry, x-ray diffraction, x-ray fluorescence, and laser studies.
