DNA-based lasing: A DNA-lipid (CTMA)
complex enables the formation of well
controlled thin films. The DNA-CTMA
molecular drawing shows possible intercalation
sites (1, 2, 3) for sulforhodamine
(SRh) molecules. A Bragg laser
structure consisting of a SiO2 periodic
grating is fabricated on a Si substrate.
