Abstract

Tunable optical parametric oscillation in a beta-barium borate crystal has been achieved with a 308-nmXeCl pump laser source. Signal wavelengths between 422 and 477 nm have been generated by angle tuning at energy-conversion efficiencies of as much as approximately 10%.
